Joseph Kucia IIIFounder Co-Owner
From an early age Joe always dreamt of being an entrepreneur. Rewind to an even earlier age and spitting firewood was always a way of life. In college, he earned his construction degree, and created a renovation business and even tried his hand at the beef jerky industry.
One day after coming back early from a snowmobile trip, he came across Axe Throwing being televised. After some research on its recent rise, and some googling of some local axe throwing facilities, it occurred to Joe that this was exactly the type of new recreation and nightlife that Litchfield County needed!
Days of research quickly turned into a foreseeable possibility. In February of 2019, Litchfield County Axe House became the 4th Connecticut Axe Throwing company, the first mobile Axe Throwing trailer in the state, and the first nationally sanctioned WTAL facility in the state. Joe is living his dream!
