MEET OUR TEAM
Joseph Kucia IIIFounder Co-Owner
From an early age Joe always dreamt of being an entrepreneur. Rewind to an even earlier age and spitting firewood was always a way of life. In college, he earned his construction degree, and created a renovation business and even tried his hand at the beef jerky industry.
One day after coming back early from a snowmobile trip, he came across Axe Throwing being televised. After some research on its recent rise, and some googling of some local axe throwing facilities, it occurred to Joe that this was exactly the type of new recreation and nightlife that Litchfield County needed!
Days of research quickly turned into a foreseeable possibility. In February of 2019, Litchfield County Axe House became the 4th Connecticut Axe Throwing company, the first mobile Axe Throwing trailer in the state, and the first nationally sanctioned WTAL facility in the state. Joe is living his dream!
Marcia is the glue that holds us all together! She has an avid love for her family and the outdoors, whether it be hiking, snowmobiling, camping or just relaxing mowing her lawn! Marcia started at LCAH as a league member but her love for axe throwing and awesome management style made her a perfect fit for our manager position. We would be lost without her!
Big time Axe enthusiast. Axepert when he is not hitting the bullseye. Joey likes to play fortnite and draw comic books in his spare time. He graduated from Thomaston High School in 2011 and loves working at Litchfield County Axe House because he loves the atmosphere, staff and the customers.
I started throwing axes with my neighbor in her backyard so it’s cool I can help other people learn! I work at Dawn’s Pizzazz as a hairdresser for my main job, being in this industry has always been a passion of mine. Outside of working I enjoy spending time with my friends and family! I love working at the Litchfield Axe House because of all the people I get to meet!
